Heimatrolle records - City of Innsbruck

Innsbruck is the first Austrian city that makes the so-called Heimatrolle publicly available for family researchers.
The Heimatrolle records are the key documents for a indvidual's or family's local, regional or national citizenship until the year 1939. If you apply for Austrian citizenship today because your grandparents were from Innsbruck, you have come to the right place.

More than 50.000 family Cards have been digitized and transcribed (by humans). About a quarter of these are still partly data-protected but can be requested by decendants and public offices.

Wie man hier erfolgreich sucht und was diese Heimatrolle genau war, können Sie auf den Hilfeseiten erfahren.
